OUR MISSION

Sound Audiology and Hearing Aid Center strives to offer the best in hearing health care in Southeastern Connecticut and Southwestern Rhode Island. We are proud to be a small independent business with long standing ties to our community.

Sound Audiology and Hearing Aid Center has a tradition of customer service excellence and a highly qualified hearing health professional and support staff. Our staff has been fitting hearing aids in southeastern Connecticut and southwestern Rhode Island for almost 20 years. We provide the local communities of Stonington, Pawcatuck, North Stonington, Preston, Norwich, Ledyard, Groton, and Mystic Connecticut as well as Westerly, Charlestown, Richmond, and Hope Valley Rhode Island with a convenient place to find a leading provider of quality hearing health care. All our clinical services are provided by an Audiologist licensed in both Connecticut and Rhode Island. OUR CLINICAL STAFF

Colleen Hicks M.Ed., M.S., CCC/A, Audiologist

Colleen Hicks is a licensed Audiologist in both Connecticut and Rhode Island with more than 18 years of professional experience in both the public and private sectors. At the College of St. Rose Colleen earned both a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders and a Master’s Degree in Education. In 1992, she went on to earn a Master of Science Degree in Audiology from the University of Rhode Island. She is currently completing her Doctor of Audiology degree at the Univeristy of Florida (Go Gators!). She is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association with a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and an associate member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. Colleen is specialized in advanced digital hearing aid technology and aural rehabilitation. She has lived and worked in the Southeastern, CT and Southwestern, RI area for over 25 years and counting.




OUR SUPPORT STAFF

Janet Graham, Office Manager

Jan Graham is a proud native of South Boston Massachusetts and a huge Red Sox fan. Jan has lived and worked in southeastern CT since 1984. After moving to CT Jan began working in banking and did so for 15 years. In 1999 Jan began working in the Speech and Audiology department at Lawrence and Memorial hospital as the secretary/registrar. Jan comes to Sound Audiology and Hearing Aid Center, LLC with many years of great experience working with both hearing professionals and the hearing impaired community.
